DETAILS: PM Osher Lifelong Learning Institute presents Milkweed Visitors with Mary Holland, Photographer, Author, Newspaper Columnist - Naturally Curious for the Valley News. The ecology of a milkweed patch will be viewed through the presenters stunning photographs. She will share her wealth of knowledge about the myriad of insects that thrive on the flowers and leaves of this common plant that harbors, among other favorites, the monarch butterfly. This is co-sponsored by the Springfield Garden Club. Semester Memberships are $40.00 for all 9 programs and entrance to the other 7 Vermont Osher Institute Programs; single program fee is $8.00.
